Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Clavius at clavius.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Clavius.

Clavius provides online scheduling software for local service businesses, including a public booking page, appointment management, email notifications, calendar export, and optional payment collection. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account
• Notify us immediately at hello@clavius.app if you suspect unauthorized access

• New accounts include a 30-day free trial unless otherwise stated
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to keep your booking page and dashboard active
• Subscription fees are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled
• You can manage or cancel your subscription from the “Your plan” page in your dashboard
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance

If you enable customer payments (deposits or prepayment), funds are processed by Stripe Connect directly to your connected account. Clavius is not a party to transactions between you and your customers. You choose whether customer cancellations are refundable and how close to the appointment customers may cancel online. You are responsible for refunds, disputes, taxes, and compliance with applicable payment laws.

• You are solely responsible for the services you offer and appointments you accept
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your industry and location
• You are the data controller for customer information collected through your booking page; Clavius processes it on your behalf as a service provider
• Do not use Clavius for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the platform

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious code or interfere with other users
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Misrepresent your business or services
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the platform or other users.

We strive to keep Clavius available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and circumstances beyond our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

Clavius is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clavius and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clavius from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your business operations, your customer relationships, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using Clavius at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing to use the service. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including limitations of liability and indemnification) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
